LGBTQIA Inclusion Training

  • St. Paul's Indy 6050 North Meridian Street Indianapolis, IN 46208 United States (map)

Tyne Parlett, St. Paul's intern for Supervised Ministry through Christian Theological Seminary and Founder of Cultivating A Belonging Culture is hosting a day of LGBTQIA Inclusion training. As a trans, nonbinary, queer person and a facilitator, Tyne has been facilitating and learning with communities about how to understand, communicate, incorporate and celebrate queer and gender-diverse youth and adults in a variety of different settings. This course is open to anyone ages 14+ and will discuss commonly misunderstood topics like romantic and sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, affirming care, the politics and theological discussions surrounding LBGTQIA communities, and how to better support the youth, adults and community members we know who represent this population. Lunch and childcare are provided if you RSVP. Click here to email Tyne Parlett and reserve a spot.
