8:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist
10 a.m. Independence Day Lessons & Carols with Holy Eucharist
Join us for a festive and reflective service of Lessons & Carols celebrating Independence Day and the birth of democracy. Modeled on the beloved Christmas tradition and drawn from "The Book of Occasional Services," this liturgy highlights how our Christian faith informs civic life. Holy Eucharist will be included. The service will include excerpts from John Winthrop's "A Modell of Christian Charity," the Declaration of Independence, "Lincoln's Second Inaugural Address," "Declaration of Sentiments" from the first Women’s Rights Convention, Martin Luther King Jr.'s "Letter from the Birmingham Jail" and "Confronted by God: The Essential Verna Dozier" — culminating in a blessing by the Rev. William Sloane Coffin. Music will feature America, the Beautiful (Calvin Hampton), Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever, special hymns and more. Please plan to stay after the service and gather in the courtyard for festive popsicles and fellowship!
Sunday Worship
Welcome to St. Paul’s Indy! Join us for Sunday worship services at 8:30 and 10 a.m. or livestream on YouTube and Facebook at 10 a.m.
Each service includes scripture readings, a sermon, prayers and communion, where we share blessed bread and wine. While we refer to this as "Holy Eucharist," other traditions might call it "the Service of the Table," "Mass," "Holy Communion" or "The Lord’s Supper."
We warmly welcome everyone to join us! Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a friendly usher who will provide a bulletin and answer any questions you may have.
Nursery care will be available for ages 0-3 from 9:35-11:30 a.m.
