Protect Yourself From Fraudulent Messages

Unfortunately, spoofing, phishing and whaling scam emails and text messages are increasingly common, and churches/nonprofits are often specifically targeted. Recently, fraudulent communications pretending to be from St. Paul’s Indy clergy/staff have targeted our community.

It’s important to stay alert and protect yourself. Please click below to learn more.

When our neighbors are hurting, we are called to draw near.

As flooding affects Indianapolis and surrounding communities, many people are asking, “How can I help?” Others are asking, “Where can I turn for help?”

We’ve gathered resources in one place to make it easier to respond with care and compassion — including opportunities to:

• Make a monetary donation
• Donate needed supplies
• Volunteer your time
• Find flood relief services and assistance

Visit stpaulsindy.org/floodrelief to find ways to help or to find support if you or someone you know has been affected.

This is what it means to live our mission: Sharing Christ’s Love. Creating Community. Striving for Justice. In moments of crisis, we show up for one another — with compassion, generosity, and hope.

Please share this resource with others who may need it. ❤️

As an LGBTQ+ affirming Episcopal church, we celebrate the full participation of all people in worship, ministry, leadership and community life. Inspired by Jesus' call to love our neighbor, we’re committed to justice, inclusion, generous hospitality and service in the wider community.

Whether you're exploring faith for the first time, returning to church, or looking for a welcoming church in Indianapolis, you’ll feel at home here.

Welcome to the next rector of St. Paul’s Indy, the Rev. Loren Lasch!

As we eagerly look forward to welcoming our next rector, we’ll be sharing a few “getting to know Loren” facts each week. These little glimpses give us a chance to begin learning about her even before she arrives — and to look ahead to all that we’ll discover together. This week, we’re delighted to share three things that give us a glimpse into what Loren loves and what she hopes to experience at St. Paul’s:

Favorite hymn:

Loren's favorite hymn is Hymn 390, “Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of Creation.” She loves how beautifully its words speak of the goodness and mercy of God and invite us to share together in praise and worship. And, as she says, she finds it impossible not to “belt it out” because the tune is so wonderful!

Something she's excited about:

Loren looks forward to experiencing, in person, the beauty of the liturgy and music of St. Paul’s. We can’t wait for her to experience it with us, too!

Something she hopes we’ll teach her:

Loren hopes to learn where God has been at work in and through St. Paul’s.

What a beautiful invitation — to share with her the stories, people, ministries, moments and memories that reveal God’s presence among us.

We’re grateful for these first glimpses of our new rector and look forward with joy and anticipationto September 8, when we’ll welcome her in person. Click below to read a full introduction from St. Paul's Indy wardens and a message from Loren:
