COMMUNICATING THROUGH CONFLICT

Join the Wellness Team in welcoming licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs), Jill Frame and Dena Hein for a discussion on how to best communicate through conflict. Learn proven techniques and common misconceptions that effect our interpretation and handling of conflicts. On March 9, a couples check-in workshop will dive deeper into communicating with significant others for those who are interested. See details and register below for March 9. COUPLES CHECK-IN WORKSHOP
Sunday, March 9, 10:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m., CRR (second floor, Parish Ctr. bldg.)
Gain skills to improve communication and be able to recognize behaviors that increase the likelihood of marital problems in the future. Join licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs), Jill Frame and Dena Hein for a couples check-in workshop. Participants have the option to complete the Gottman Assessment (a personalized tool with cost associated, not required to participate in the workshop) to receive insight into their relationship dynamics. Couples who choose to complete the assessment will have the opportunity to briefly discuss results with Jill or Dena prior to the workshop, via zoom.* *Register no later than Friday, February 28 to discuss results in advance of the workshop.
Jill Frame is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Broad Ripple. She specializes in helping individuals and couples through Experiential Therapy, EMDR, and Gottman Therapy. Jill enjoys fostering growth and connection in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Dena Hein is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Yoga Teacher, Meditation Mentor, and Health Coach with a private practice in Carmel. Dena combines her teaching experience, both from the college classroom and from over a decade as a yoga instructor and meditation mentor, with her life experience to help her therapy clients find their own path to feeling more confident and resilient.
