Godly Play

Godly Play Mission: Making meaning through story, wonder, and play. Nurturing spiritual lives by honoring the centrality, competency and capacity of children.

Sunday after Labor Day-Sunday before Memorial Day, Sunday mornings from 10:15-11:00, except the first Sunday of the month.

Godly Play is a Montessori approach to faith formation for children. Godly Play classes follow the same flow each meeting time. Children will gather and feast together, hear a story, wonder about the story together, then choose how they would like to respond- through playing with a story, playing at the altar, creating with craft supplies, cleaning the room, etc.

You do not need to sign up prior to your child attending Godly Play. We would love to have more information about you here, but not required.

Grab a snack for your child in the hallway downstairs, bring it up to the classroom to eat with friends as everyone gathers. Drinks are already in the classrooms.

Pick your child up at their classroom at 11 a.m.

Classroom doors are locked during the class for safety reasons. The door will open when the class is finished. If you need to pick up your child early, knock gently on the door and an adult will help you. There are windows in the all the doors and you can observe the class from the hallway whenever you need.
