Dan Thompson

I am responsible for Accounting, HR/Personnel, Facility Management and Rentals, the St. Paul’s Apparel Shop and general programming.

I have a B.A. in Accounting and M.S. of Taxation (nerd alert) from Ball State University. Utilizing those degrees, I began my career in public accounting, doing corporate and personal taxes. During that time, I lived in Denver and then in Fairfield, Connecticut and I worked as a Controller, CFO and General Manager for a few smaller family-owned businesses. Before St. Paul’s, I was the Operations Director at a private, Catholic high school. Much of my job there is like my job here (i.e. supporting facilities, working with Endowments/Investments, Accounting, HR, etc.)

Outside of my professional career, my real pride and joy is my family (no, I’m not just saying that). I have an incredible wife, three wonderful kids and a 110lb dog named Frank. I enjoy coaching my kids in sports (kickball, volleyball, flag football, baseball, basketball, gymnastics - you name it, we’ll play it and my wife and I will try to coach it). I am sneaky artistic for an accountant and enjoy going to live events (sports, music, theater, etc.)
