St. Paul’s Day Camp
Is your child’'s school closed on a random weekday and you need childcare for that day? Introducing St. Paul’s Day Camp, St. Paul's Episcopal Church has you covered! We invite you to enroll your child(ren) for one - or all - St. Paul’s Day Camp dates.
Camp dates are open to full-time Pre-K 4 to sixth grade students.
Drop off begins at 8 a.m.
Programming lasts from 8:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m..
Students must be picked up by 5 p.m.
Snacks and lunch are provided.
St. Paul’s understands that children have varied interests. Small groups will be formed, offering activity options throughout the day. Programming will include sports, enrichment, arts, crafts, cooking, team building, games and more. Children will have fun, staying busy while meeting new friends and learning new things.
Part of the camp day will include Godly Play, a Montessori approach to faith formation. A story is shared with simple wooden props, allowing children to engage their curiosity and form their own connections from questions that start with “I wonder….” following the story. Students respond by making their own choices during work time, leading the way through curiosity, creativity and wonder. There are no right or wrong answers, nor any adult-provided ‘answers.’
St. Paul’s is an open and affirming church community that values creating community through play, striving for justice through affordable childcare and sharing Christ’s love through storytelling and wonder.
