This week's recommendation is to contact your state legislators about upcoming hearings on bills related to transgender students, school chaplains and immigration.
HB 1041 - Transgender students in school sports
Contact your state legislators, Senator Jeff Raatz (Education Committee Chairperson) and anyone you know in Richmond, IN/District 27 to ask them not to support this bill. Senator Raatz can be reached at 317.233.0930.SB 523 - Chaplains in schools
Contact your state legislators, Representative Robert Behning (Education Committee Chairperson) and anyone you know in District 91 (south of Indianapolis Airport) to ask them not to support this bill.
